1) Introduction

If you are a California resident, this notice supplements our Privacy Policy and describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), and how to exercise those rights.

Please read this notice together with our Privacy Policy.

For purposes of this notice, "Personal Information," "Sensitive Personal Information," "sell," and "share" have the meanings set forth in California law.

2) Notice at Collection

We collect personal information directly from consumers, from their interactions with our website, and from service-provider workflows used to process requests and evaluate debt-relief and loan options.

Categories collected through our lead and privacy request workflows include identifiers, California Customer Records information, commercial information, internet/electronic activity, and certain sensitive information such as Social Security number and date of birth when provided through lead-intake forms.

We disclose personal information to service providers and to third-party partners involved in evaluating requested debt-relief or lending options. We also use analytics and site-performance tools. Depending on implementation and legal interpretation, some online tracking disclosures may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising in some contexts.

4) Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice and our Privacy Policy, including service delivery, legal/compliance obligations, dispute resolution, security monitoring, and recordkeeping.

Retention periods are determined by category, sensitivity, legal obligations, and whether the information remains necessary for operational purposes. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or otherwise limit its use in accordance with applicable law.

5) Your California Privacy Rights

  • Right to Data Portability for eligible request responses.
  • Right to Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing of personal information.
  • Right to Limit Use/Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information, where applicable.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination and equal service/price, except as permitted by law.

You can use these channels for access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, and sensitive-information requests.

7) Verification and Authorized Agents

To protect your information, we verify requestor identity before processing certain requests. Verification steps may vary based on the type of request, the sensitivity of information, and your existing relationship with us.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require signed authorization, proof of agency, and/or direct confirmation from you, as permitted by law.

We generally respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If reasonably necessary, we may extend once by an additional 45 days and provide notice explaining the reason for the extension.

8) Sale/Sharing and Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

Our Privacy Policy states we do not sell information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing. We do, however, disclose information to service providers and partner networks that help process requested debt-relief and lending options.

In addition, certain online analytics and tracking disclosures can be treated as "sharing" under California law in some contexts, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, depending on how a given technology is implemented and classified.

To exercise opt-out rights, submit a "Do not sell or share my personal information" request through /privacy-request, or by email/phone listed above.

9) Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We are committed to honoring browser-based opt-out preference signals, including GPC, where we can reliably detect and technically apply them to the browser or device making the request.

If you believe your GPC signal was not processed as expected, submit a request through /privacy-request or contact us by email/phone so we can process your request manually.

10) Sensitive Personal Information

Our lead intake workflow may collect sensitive personal information, including Social Security number and date of birth, to support identity verification, fraud prevention, and evaluation of requested financial options.

We use and disclose sensitive personal information for disclosed business purposes and as otherwise permitted by law. If you wish to request limits on the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, submit a request through /privacy-request and specify that your request concerns limiting sensitive personal information use/disclosure.

11) Minors

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without the affirmative authorization required by California law.

If we learn that personal information from a consumer under 16 was processed without required authorization, we will take steps to address the data and applicable rights requests.

12) Financial Incentives

We do not currently describe a California financial-incentive program in exchange for personal information on this website.

If a financial-incentive program is offered in the future, we will provide the required notice describing material terms, how to opt in, how to withdraw, and how any value calculation is determined.
